Only 20 minutes from I-65; one hour from either Birmingham or Huntsville, Alabama. About 10 minutes away is a boat launch for Smith Lake. Plenty of room to park boat on property. Lots of waterfalls, hiking, horseback riding etc. to check out that is within 30-40 minutes from property. When you arrive there is a wooden bridge to the property and up in the treehouse, two more wooden walkways that connect the treehouse to other spaces.

There is a walkway bridge to the main house and then another to the deck overlooking the fire pit. A short path leads to the outdoor double showers and, yes, there is hot water. The showers are enclosed, but you’re surrounded by woods so the area is quite private. In addition there is a swing bench under the treehouse for some extra lounging.

Treehouse is basically one single room with bathroom on the side. The double outdoor showers are down the pathway. There will be firewood provided should you want to enjoy a fire in the pit. Bring your own marshmallows. You’ll also have a paddle boat at the 2-acre lake available to you, just sign the waiver.
